【MIRAIT ONE Corporation】Donation of USD 100,000 to Support Improvement of Online Education Environment for Ukrainian Children
Major telecommunications construction company MIRAIT ONE Corporation (head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshiki Nakayama; "MIRAIT ONE") made a USD 100,000 donation to support the improvement of the online education environment for Ukrainian children who have been forced to take refuge within Ukraine due to the Ukraine conflict.
The donation will be allocated through the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to support improvement of the education environment such as notebook PCs and tablets for online education of children in Ukraine.
Until now, MIRAIT ONE has donated JPY 10 million as a company and Group officers and employees have also made donations to support efforts to address the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
MIRAIT ONE has stated "Promote respect for human rights and D&I" as an ESG key issue (materiality). We offer our sympathies to everyone who has suffered in Ukraine or been forced to take refuge in a neighboring country, and hope that the current crisis is quickly resolved and that peace returns to Ukraine and the world.
