Major telecommunications construction company MIRAIT ONE Corporation (head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshiki Nakayama; "MIRAIT ONE") has established the "Declaration of Partnership Building."
Since our founding, the MIRAIT ONE Group has created and maintained telecommunications infrastructure. Our aim is, under the vastly changing business circumstances in recent years, to evolve into a corporate group that continues to make a positive contribution to the resolution of various kind of social issues in a wider range of social infrastructure fields than ever before.
In order to build and protect the social infrastructure of the future, we believe that co-creation with our partners is of the utmost importance. We work on promotion of such initiatives, including human resource development, safety and compliance, DX promotion, on-site value chain reform, which enable us to grow together with our partners and do well in society.
Taking the opportunity of the "Declaration of Partnership Building" to address co-existence and co-prosperity of the entire supply chain and new cooperation, we will strive to strengthen partnerships, contribute to the sustainable development of customers and society, as well as improve corporate value.
Declaration of Partnership Building
MIRAIT ONE hereby declares that we will concentrate our efforts on the following items in order to build new partnerships by promoting cooperation, co-existence and co-prosperity with our business partners in the supply chain and other businesses aiming to create value.
1. Co-existence and co-prosperity of the entire supply chain and new collaboration beyond size and affiliations
By reaching out, through our direct business partners, to their business partners (from " Tier N" to "Tier N+1"), we will work to improve the added value of the entire supply chain and aim to build co-existence and co-prosperity with our business partners through collaboration that goes beyond existing business relationships and company size. On that occasion, from the perspective of business continuity in the event of a disaster or any other force majeure and of work style reform, we will also advance support such as advice on the introduction of telework and the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) formulation for business partners.

○Aiming to co-create social value through collaboration with our partners, we will work to support them in terms of human resource development that promotes growth and transformation, creation of business opportunities, safety and compliance, DX promotion, and on-site value chain reform.
○From the perspective of human-centered management, we will work to support the health management of partner companies, in particular, through dissemination, enlightenment, and practical support for health management.
2. Adherence to "Promotion Standards"
We will work on compliance with desirable business practices between parent companies and subcontractors ("Promotion Standards" under the Act on the Promotion of Subcontracting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), and proactively correct business practices and commercial practices that would hinder the building of partnerships with business partners.
① Pricing method
We will not make unreasonable requests for cost reduction. In determining the transaction prices, if a subcontractor requests a consultation, we will respond to such consultations and fully discuss it so as to include the appropriate profit of the subcontractor in view of the impact of the increase in labor costs. When making a contract, including the determination of transaction prices, the parent company will clearly state and deliver the contractual terms and conditions in writing.
② Terms of payment
Payment for transactions with partner companies will be made in cash.
③ Intellectual property and know-how
We will not request the execution of unilateral confidentiality agreements without reasonable grounds, disclosure of know-how using a transactional position, and free transfer/assignment of intellectual property rights.
④ Negative consequences due to work style reform, etc.
To ensure that our business partners can also respond to work style reforms, we will not place orders with short delivery times or change specifications to subcontractors that entail an inappropriate cost burden. In the event of a disaster or any other force majeure, we will not impose a unilateral burden on the subcontractor in terms of transactions, and we will consider the continuation of business relationships as much as possible when business resumes.
3. Others
We will comply with the Antimonopoly Act and any other laws and regulations related to transactions and conduct transparent and fair trade and competition in the market. In addition, we will maintain sound, normal and transparent relationships with customers, business partners, government, public administrations, etc.
We will respect each other's position; maintain positive cooperative relationships with our partner companies, as well as work together to play a role that contributes to solving social issues.
