Yoshiteru Iwai, of the Human Resources Development Department in the General Affairs and Human Resources Division of MIRAIT ONE Corporation (head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshiki Nakayama; "MIRAIT ONE"） received 9th Distinguished Service Award for the development of Female Engineers, and an award ceremony was held at Josui Hall in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo on August 10.

The Achievement Award for the Development of Female Engineers is an award given by the Japan Association of Technology Executives to commend the achievements of people who have produced outstanding results in the development of female technologists, and has been awarded since 2014. Mr. Iwai has been involved in development of engineers in the Technology Training Division since 2007, and has trained approximately 21,000 men and women to date, accepting many new employees including women every year and conducting technology training. MIRAIT ONE has been actively engaged in the development of competitors in the "Information Network Construction" category of the National Skills Competition (hosted by the Japan Vocational Ability Development Association) since 2004, and Mr. Iwai has worked as a supervisor for this initiative, leading to two female competitors receiving bronze awards in 2022. MIRAIT ONE also entered the drone business in 2017, and has focused on the development of many pilots at the drone school opened within the Company's training facility.


MIRAIT ONE will continue to engage in the active recruitment and development of female engineers, and promote division and inclusion with the aim of realizing work styles enabling each person to actively participate while valuing their individuality, while acknowledging and accepting each other's diverse values and work styles.
