【MIRAIT ONE Corporation】MIRAIT ONE Receives "Bronze" Certification in the PRIDE Index 2024, which Evaluates LGBTQ+ Initiatives
Major telecommunications construction company MIRAIT ONE Corporation (head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshiki Nakayama; "MIRAIT ONE") received a "Bronze" certification in PRIDE Index 2024*2, an index established by the work with Pride Association to evaluate initiatives taken in workplaces concerning sexualities such as LGBTQ+*1 (hereinafter, "LGBTQ+") on November 14, 2024.
MIRAIT ONE seeks to continue to be an "attractive company group" with diverse employees working actively as set out in its "Diversity & Inclusion Declaration" established in December 2022. We respect individual personalities and strive to build a workplace where our employees perform to their full potential. As part of these efforts, we are working to create an environment in which sexual diversity is respected and all employees can work without discrimination by providing training to promote understanding about LGBTQ+ and sexual diversity, establishing a consultation desk, creating and distributing Ally*3 stickers and taking other steps.
In addition, we plan to apply the internal system to same-gender partners and permit the use of common names based on gender identity beginning in December 2024.
Going forward, MIRAIT ONE will continue to promote the creation of an inclusive work environment where each and every employee can play an active role while valuing their individuality, and contribute to building a society in which all people can live with peace of mind.
*1 LGBTQ+ is a generic term for people representing diverse sexualities and gender identities. It is an acronym that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning, with the "+" to include other diverse identities.
*2 The "PRIDE Index 2024" is an evaluation index developed by the work with Pride Association to create workplaces in Japan where LGBTQ+ people can work comfortably beyond the framework of companies, organizations, etc., and evaluation is performed for the following five items.

*3 "Ally" is a person who understands and supports LGBTQ+.
