MIRAIT ONE Corporation (head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Hidemune Sugahara; "MIRAIT ONE") is pleased to announce that, as per the EPC*1 entrusted from Fuyo General Lease Co., Ltd. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Hiroaki Oda; hereinafter "Fuyo Lease") and its equity-method affiliate Global Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "GL"), MIRAIT ONE has built and completed the construction of a grid power storage facility in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture (hereinafter, "Chikushino Amayama Power Storage Station") on June 30, 2025.

Chikushino Amayama Power Storage Station is powered by lithium-ion batteries with a rated output of 1,958.4 kW and a rated capacity of 7,833.6 kWh. In terms of operation, we utilize GL's expertise in aggregation*2, power supply and demand forecasting, and knowhow and experience in controlling and managing storage batteries to conduct transactions in the power trading market and operate the facility to contribute to the stabilization of power grids using storage batteries. In addition, we aim to maximize the use of storage batteries by, for example, conducting wide-area integrated operations together with the storage batteries already installed in the Kyushu area and flexibly distributing the amount of electricity within the balancing group*3.

MIRAIT ONE, including its group companies, has nine bases for the construction of power storage stations throughout Japan, and has established a system that can respond to the demand for installation of power storage facilities from all parts of the country. In the construction of power storage stations, we can provide a one-stop service from consulting to procurement of goods and construction, enabling us to build power storage facilities that meet the needs of our customers.
MIRAIT ONE was selected as the EPC contractor for this project based on its construction experience to date and technical proposal capabilities.

Through the construction of grid power storage stations and storage plants attached to solar power generation, MIRAIT ONE will continue to contribute to the development of the electric power infrastructure and aim to achieve a carbon-neutral society.

Under this system, the representative contractor compiles the supply and demand of each company in the group and enters into a single contract with the power company (general electricity transmission and distribution company) to maintain a balance between supply and demand of electricity on a group basis.
